6.45AM - Meet your guide inside London St Pancras Station

Meet your guide outside the LK Bennett shop London St.Pancras train station at 06:45am - opposite Eurostar check-in. Our train departs at 07:55am, and just over two hours later we arrive in Paris. Check in must be completed at least 30 minutes before the departure time of 07:55am. Please ensure you allow enough time to check in, we strongly recommend you plan to arrive at Eurostar check in at 06:40am to meet our guide at 06:45am - look for the guide holding an International Friends sign. 

Late Morning - Arrive Paris Gare Du Nord

On arrival your friendly tour guide will accompany you to our coach for a half day coach sightseeing tour of this amazing city. Some of Paris' famous sights you will see include Montmartre, Moulin Rouge, Arc de Triomphe, Champs Elysees, Louvre Museum, Place de la Concorde, Eiffel Tower and more. The tour ends with check in at our fantastic 3* city centre hotel. After check in (and some time for lunch), join your guide and travel by metro to enjoy a Bateaux Parisiens boat cruise by the foot of the Eiffel Tower along the River Seine.

Afternoon - River Cruise on the Seine

This tour includes commentary on the spectacular River Seine from which you can see many of Paris's major attractions, and ends with the opportunity to climb the Eiffel Tower (entrance fee is extra) to get a 'bird's eye view' of this wonderful city. The guide will show you where you can buy tickets for the Tower, and for anybody tired after a long day sightseeing the guide will then accompany you back to the hotel.  

Evening - Dinner and/or explore at leisure

In the evening, you'll have the option to join your guide for dinner in a nearby local French restaurant. This is a great opportunity to try the local Parisian food with some guidance, whilst getting to know your fellow travellers (food, drink and any public transport is extra). Our hotel is in a great city centre location, with a large choice of good restaurants within walking distance. The hotel also has a restaurant.

Morning/Afternoon - Full day of sightseeing

After breakfast in your hotel, meet your tour guide at 9am for a full day of sightseeing in Paris by metro. Our first stop is Montmartre for the Sacre Coeur, Place du Tertre and Moulin Rouge.

Then on to Ille de la Cite and the world famous Notre Dame, with time for a delicious Parisien lunch and shopping on by the River Seine. The day finishes with some free time for shopping in Opera or on the Champs Elysees. Here you can shop in some of Paris' most famous department stores Galeries Lafayette or Printemps, see the Opera Garnier, visit the food shops Hediard or Fauchon, or maybe enjoy tea and macaroons and other French patisserie delights in one of the wonderful cafes or hotels. 

Afternoon - Optional Half day trip to Versailles (£45)

A fully guided half day tour to the stunning Palace of Versailles. Price includes coach or train from the hotel to Versailles, tour guide and entry to the Palace itself.

Access to the beautifully manicured gardens is also included, except for Fountain Show and Musical Gardens days (from April to October)

Completed in 1715 during the reign of Louis XIV to project the absolute power of the French monarchy (before the revolution), it served as the political capital and royal court for over 100 years, until in 1789 the revolutionary mobs massacred the Palace Guard and dragged Louis XVI and Marie-Antoinette to Paris to cut off their heads by guillotine! Certainly the most spectacular, the grandest and most famous palace in France.   

Evening - Free time to enjoy the Paris nightlife

Your evening will be free to enjoy the Paris nightlife. Staying in the central area of Bercy, all areas of the city are easily accessible. Perhaps take in a show, walk the boulevards or enjoy some fine French cuisine.

Morning - Visit the Louvre

In the morning we will make our way to the world's most famous and most visited art gallery - the Louvre (entry not included) Your chance to see some of the most celebrated paintings in the world - the Mona Lisa, the Dying Slave, the Venus de Milo and many more. 

Afternoon - Free time before departure back to London

Following our visit to the Louvre, there will be some final free time for shopping/exploration before we return to our hotel to collect our luggage. We'll be collected by coach and transferred back to Gare du Nord station for our high speed Eurostar train back to London St Pancras.
