Next, after a brief one-hour drive, we’ll arrive at the Warner Bros Studio Tour: The Making of Harry Potter. This extraordinary experience gives you a behind-the-scenes look at one of the most successful film franchises in history. You’ll be able to step into real sets, admire authentic props, and see the very costumes used to bring the Harry Potter books to life on screen.
As you walk through the iconic Great Hall, Dumbledore’s Office, 4 Privet Drive, Gryffindor Common Room, the Weasley kitchen, Diagon Alley, the Ministry of Magic’s Atrium, and even the Hogwarts Express, you’ll be immersed in the magical world of Harry Potter. With at least four hours to explore the studio, you’ll uncover secrets about the special effects, prosthetics, and makeup that helped create the creatures and scenes we all love. This working studio, where all eight films were produced, will reveal the incredible craftsmanship and artistry that went into making the Harry Potter universe!

We start our day with a morning departure from London, heading to Oxford for a magical day out! Our adventure begins with a one-hour guided walking tour through this world-renowned university city. Founded in 1167, Oxford is the oldest university in England. Led by a professional guide, we’ll explore some of the most iconic university buildings, cloisters, and quadrangles. As we wander down narrow streets and across charming cobblestone squares, you’ll be surrounded by the famous “dreaming spires” that define Oxford’s skyline.
Our tour takes us into the heart of this historic academic haven, where you’ll have the chance to see landmarks such as the Bodleian Library, Radcliffe Camera, Sheldonian Theatre, and several of the University’s colleges. Some of the colleges we’ll pass by include Christ Church, Merton, Oriel, Corpus Christi, Magdalen, University, Queen’s, All Souls, Hertford, Trinity, Balliol, and St. John’s. With Oxford boasting 38 independent colleges, we’ll also see many others along the way. After the guided portion of our visit, enjoy some free time to explore the city at your own pace before we continue to the next exciting part of our tour.
Meet at the station exit outside Gloucester Road Tube Station. Gloucester Road is serviced by the Piccadilly, Circle and District Lines.
We will head off to Oxford once we have departed from central London. Upon arrival we enjoy a guided tour of this famous university city. Founded in the 11th century, Oxford is the English speaking world's oldest university. You'll have the chance to join a 60 minute professionally guided walking tour of some of Oxford's most famous college buildings, amongst its quadrangles. You'll also have some free time to explore - and visit some of Oxford's many shops and cafes at your leisure.
After your small group guided tour of Oxford we take the short drive to Warner Bros Studio Tour: The Making of Harry Potter.
The real highlight of your day is the visit to the Warner Bros Studio for the making of Harry Potter tour.
Here we spend over four hours - plenty of time for you to immerse yourselves into the world of Harry Potter. Based in a collection of former aircraft hangers at Leavesden we visit the studios where every single Harry Potter movie was filmed! An incredible attraction and one of England's most visited which gives you the experience of the Harry Potter magic that has gone into creating the most successful film series ever.
Begin your visit in the Great Hall and venture through the most iconic sets featured in the movies including Dumbledore’s office, the Ministry of Magic, Gryffindor common room, 4 Privet Drive, Diagon Alley, the Weasley kitchen and Hagrid's Hut. Climb aboard the Hogwarts Express and sit in a carriage as "Hogwarts Castle" steams away at the end of platform 9 3/4. See some of the behind-the-scenes secrets and unveil the magical make up and intricate prosthetics that transformed the actors into J.K. Rowlings amazing creatures.
After a magical experience at the studios we will make our way back to London.
On our return we will drop you back at Gloucester Road Tube Station (where the day began). Due to the unpredictable nature of traffic and road conditions, we cannot guarantee a precise time of arrival back into central London.
