The Tower of London
The Tower of London is located in a great part of the city to spend the day and this historic castle on the banks of the River Thames, is known for its role in British history and housing the Crown Jewels. There are so many things to see and do around here, it is just fun to walk around and explore as much as you can.
Buckingham Palace to go and witness the ‘Changing of the Guard’ ceremony outside the official residence of the British monarch. While you can't go inside the palace, its exterior and surrounding area are impressive. There are beautiful royal parks very close by, where when the weather is nice, you could spend a whole afternoon exploring them.
The Houses of Parliament
The Houses of Parliament and Big Ben is the iconic clock tower, which is now officially named the ‘Elizabeth Tower’ and is part of the Houses of Parliament complex. It's one of London's most recognisable landmarks. We will actually drive past on most of our tours and you get a breath-taking view from our meeting spot.
Westminster Abbey is a masterpiece of Gothic architecture and this iconic church has hosted numerous royal events and ceremonies, including weddings and coronations. As you can imagine it is very popular and we advise going early in the day to get the best views and pictures
The Shard's viewing platform is one of the best for panoramic views of London's skyline, including landmarks like Tower Bridge and St. Paul's Cathedral. There are also bars up there where you can enjoy a glass of champagne or cocktails, to enhance the experience that bit more haha!
Covent Garden is a bustling area that features street performers, boutique shops, and a lively atmosphere. It's a great place for shopping, dining, and entertainment. Keep your eyes peeled as you may see a celebrity or 2 enjoying some retail therapy as well. There are also a lot of West End theatres located in this area, if you want to catch a show
Kensington Palace is a historic palace and you can explore its beautiful gardens. It's also the official residence of several members of the royal family.
